Inspired by “The Climate Blueprint for Media Transformation,” published in summer 2024, the Solutions Journalism Network and Covering Climate Now are running a webinar series on pressing topics in climate journalism. In our second roundtable discussion, on Tuesday, August 19, at 12pm US Eastern Time, called “The Power of Local Journalism,” we discussed the importance of reporting on local impacts of climate change, how to connect this global phenomenon with the lived experiences of your audience, and tips for reporting on local climate actions and solutions.
